The Campbell Law Advocacy Program is committed to developing law students into complete lawyeradvocates . The mastery of trial skills , evidentiary principles , modern persuasive techniques , and integration of substantive law are hallmarks of the Campbell Law advocacy experience .
Students receive a practical , hands-on education in the complete lawyer experience that is deeply challenging and rewarding . By taking part , future lawyers learn what to do when they enter a courtroom for their first assignment . Campbell lawyers are trained to know how to handle themselves as competent and professional courtroom lawyers on day one .
The advocacy and practice court experience benefits future litigants and transactional lawyers alike . Participating students not only learn how to try a case , they also learn how to conduct client interviews , draft documents for courts and arbitrators , develop pragmatic and critical thinking skills , and confidently advocate for future clients during negotiations .
