Roll 10g green fondant into a
cone.
Cut out ruffly shape with cutter
and cut out centre with round
cutter. Just cut a slit for the
smaller ruffly shape.
Gently position ruffles on cone and keep layering until the entire
cone is covered and you end up with something that looks like
a little Christmas tree.
Putting it all together!

Take a 10 inch round board
and hot glue a 4-inch foam
square to the centre.
Cover with 250g of black
fondant.
Insert 3 thick skewers or
dowels into the foam block.
Add a dab of royal icing and
secure cake on top of foam
block.
Position figurines on the
cake. You may need to add
extra toothpicks to secure the
figurines in place and add
stability.
Brush a bit of glue on the feet
to secure.
Curve the second banner so it
can be positioned around the
base of the globe.
Using a fine paintbrush
or edible marker write
“Christmas” on the straight
banner and “Around the
World” on the curved.
Step 24:
Roll out some white fondant
or modelling paste to make
the banners, approximately
21.5cm. Cut into strips and
fold and pleat the sides to
create banners.
With glue secure the
“Christmas” banner across the
centre of the globe. Position
the“Around the World” banner
around the base of the globe
and glue to the fondant
covered foam block.
