Attach the baking paper
design to the cake with
masking tape.

Make sure the design is
attached securely and
straight.

Start tracing your design on to your cake. I prefer to sit my cake
on a cake stand so that it is off the table. To ensure that I have a
steady hand, I rest my drawing hand on my free hand.

Carefully remove the tracing
paper to reveal your design.
I found using the non toxic
chalk as a tracing medium, it
leaves a thicker residue which
is easily removed with a soft
brush.
