How old were you when you took your
first order and how long have you been
decorating for?
I think I was in my late teens taking
orders at my parent’s bakery. I have
been decorating now for 26 years.
What study have you done relating to
cake decorating?
I studied pastry cooking at TAFE after
finishing year 12. I have also been
lucky enough to do some courses
with international cake decorators
such as Karen Porteleo and Richard
Festen through courses run at Planet
Cake. I am committed to constantly
updating and adding to my skills and
knowledge base and have learnt about
working with chocolate and am hoping
to improve my airbrushing skills with a
course this year.
