What has been your greatest
achievement?
Did you ever expect to become a
media personality?
I can’t choose one single achievement,
I set goals that I want achieve and do
whatever I can to ensure they come to
fruition. Among them are my first book
‘Chocolate To Savour’, winning a gold
medal in the Pastry Olympics, being
recognised for the best chocolates
in the world at the World Pastry Team
Championships in Las Vegas and
appearances on television shows such
as MasterChef and Everyday Gourmet.
And of course the success of Savour.
I also have a new book coming out in
July next year.
No, not at all. I am fortunate that
chocolate and patisserie is a very
popular subject. I work really hard
at what I do and it is great to be
acknowledged for that.
Do you have a favourite dessert to
create?
I don’t have one particular favourite. I
like the fact that my job enables me to
create a wide variety of products; the
diversity keeps me on top of what I do.
