Flume Fountain Sandwich, Massachusetts A 208 foot long line pierces through an existing Oak Pine forest dell at Heritage Museums and Gardens. The fountain originates at the Museums’ entry and leads visitors into the garden both visually and literally. The fountain is a pristine mirror of still water 2 feet wide and 208 feet long when viewed from the Museums’ entry. It is not until the visitor enters the gardens that he or she understands how the fountain’s structure supports this mirror of water through the forest’s sloping topography terminating in a 26 foot tall waterfall at the Daylily Garden. 84 BSLA
