Earl Major Estate Newton, Massachusetts This historically significant 1930’s Tudor revival home sits on 1.8 acres on a quiet residential road in Newton. The clients undertook an extensive renovation of the property, including a substantial addition which changed the way the house related to the site. The clients wanted to create a traditional landscape that matched the significance and quality of the home. A site plan was created so that the landscape would relate closely to the architectural conditions and address program needs of the client.
