DHB ’ s got talent or not !

If you were one of the 240 attendees at the “ DHB ’ s Got Talent or Not ” then we don ’ t have to tell you what a great night ’ s entertainment it was .
The Hospital Social Club ensured the venue was welcoming , provided a well-stocked bar , and a substantial supper and they arranged for a few lucky ticket holders to take home a spot prize .
Once guests were seated , MC Brendan Weatherly opened the show by bursting back to life from under a sheet to find he had acquired two breasts during his tonsillectomy surgery . Guests were then captivated by the voices of the BOP Healthcare Choir who performed several songs along with a few dance moves .
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the six acts comprising of singing , dancing , hoop throwing , comedy and most of all fun , all performed by our very own staff from both sites .
The judges were very impressed with the talent on stage and were mostly well behaved ( except for Simon Coward of course ) and while they deliberated over who had the most talent , the dazzling Rhythmic Chix singers got the audience up dancing .
Prizes were awarded to Earl Charters ( Best Male ), Sherida Cooper ( Best Female ), Lutz Sauer ( Best Audience Reaction ) and the overall winners were Sandra Zammit , Lisa Rogers-Owen & Bella Wright ( Little Old Ladies ) performing “ All About That Bass ”.
