Have you had your flu jab? It’s not too late for you to get your free influenza vaccination. Latest statistics show 62% of staff have been immunised compared to 71% in 2015 and 65% in 2014. The table below shows the doctors leading the way with 77% of them being vaccinated. The B strain is a return to an earlier one. • A/California/7/2009 (H1N1)-like virus • A/Hong Kong (H3N2)-like virus • B/Brisbane-like virus Having a flu jab not only protects yourself from the severe affect influenza can have on your health, but it also helps to stop the spread of the virus to colleagues, our patients, family and friends.
