Are you okay this Christmas?

If you want to join the team no prior expert knowledge is
necessary, just a desire to be open and willing to help support staff
in regards to family violence and child protection. Training is given
Christmas should to be a happy occasion
for families however the sad reality is that
every year Family Violence spikes over the
Christmas period.
Did you know you can access
support at work?
Family Violence and Child Protection advocates (previously known
as Champions) are available to support staff at both hospitals.
Advocates act as the ‘go to’ person for staff with child protection
cases and family violence concerns. We hope to eventually have
two advocates in each area/ward.

Reducing violence in our communities is everyone’s responsibility.
