T'DARRIO - Motown / Hip Hop Punk
T’Darrio currently lives in Phoenix, AZ. His music, however, has been largely influenced by his previous homes of Detroit and Atlanta. His grandfather was an early member of The Dramatics and is pictured on their 20th Century Masters album. T’Darrio grew up in a hard-nosed, blue collar family and his struggle can be heard in his music. After being in Atlanta for 3 years and strapped for cash, he was influenced to start making beats.
As his skills in beat making began to improve and being inspired by artists like Kanye West, doors started to open up. T’Darrio says, “I like producers who go beyond making beats, who really get involved with the entire creative process; from writing hooks to vocal producing and bringing in instrumentalists. Whatever it takes to achieve that sound.”
T’Darrio goes on to say, “Not having enough money to pay for studio time and beats,” led me to pursue producing and engineering.” “Engineering came from me being my own guinea pig and making myself sound good.
