Hole Cutters are probably my most used tool. I used to use bamboo skewers for making holes in beads and pendants, and still do sometimes...but if the clay has started to dry out a little, it can crack when using a skewer as you’re not removing the clay when making a hole, more pushing it out of the way. This tool is 1.5mm on one end and 3mm on the other end...so great for beads and pendants! I also have the Kemper circle cutters for doing larger hole pendants! Pencils & Straws are great for add- ing texture. I have a gazillion different size straws as they give you a nice clean ring imprint...great for adding texture or a frame around a pendant hole. Pencils and pens are also good for getting into little corners such as eye sockets and for adding dotty textures. The end of a plain old bic biro also has a fabulous texture! Files & Debit Cards are great for add- ing different thicknesses of straight lines. Some diamond files also have graduated sides going from thick to thin! Fabulous! Debit cards are great for rolling lines around a bead or for getting the lines in pumpkin/ melon beads! creativebeadchat.com
