to learn how to make metal bezels and set
stones. Last summer I took a certification
class for Precious Metal Clay.”
One of the inspirations for Therese to keep
pushing the limits on learning more techniques is a group she joined called the Bauble Bunch. “We get together once a month
and teach each other different techniques.
One of the classes that I took was working
with polymer clay it was a lot of fun and I
have made a few cabochons out of polymer
clay that will show up in future beading
projects. I have also taken some wire wrapping, soldering, and cold connection classes
I enjoy working with wire/metal almost as
much as seed beads.”
My last question for Therese was to talk
about what inspires her. “Okay this may
sound crazy, but I get inspired by a challenge. It does not matter if I am given an
object to create with, or a word, a song or a
stitch; it is all about the sheer joy of creating
a beautiful piece of wearable art.”
