Lampwork beads were selling for a lot
of money in those days so I was able to
support myself solely on my beadmaking income. I’m still proud of that! In
terms of what kind of living you could
make as a glass beadmaker, things
changed radically after the recession a
few years later, but by then I’d ‘retired’
from beadmaking to pursue other interests.
