CPR & First Aid Training , Aaron Family Jewish Community Center of Dallas Each year , more than 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in the United States alone . Cardiopulmonary resuscitation ( CPR ), if performed in the first few minutes of cardiac arrest , can double or triple a person ’ s chance of survival . During this session , you will engage with professional CPR trainers to learn everything you need to know to help save lives by administering CPR , including formal CPR certification and opportunities to practice other first-aid training techniques . Thinking about the possibility of a career in healthcare , or simply interested in being trained to help in times of need ? Then this is the track for you ! Creative Arts , Cumberland A / B / C Ignite your inner spark of creativity as you explore an immersive environment filled with varying art forms while engaging with creative experts , innovators , and artists from across the local community . From installation art to virtual reality , drum circles to climbing structures , there is no shortage of opportunities for exploration as you engage in the design process . Participants should dress in comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes . This Lab will head offsite to SPARK !
