Property restitution is a tangible form of justice because it restores property rights to the individual, provides for their financial welfare and fosters the preservation of Jewish life. The Claims Conference and World Jewish Restitution Organization were formed at different times throughout history to champion property restitution. Because of her work and unstoppable efforts to teach the lessons of the Holocaust, Trudy was awarded BBYO’s first BBYO Stand UP Award in 2012. In this interactive, experiential and inevitably hilarious session, we’ll learn about all the critical issues currently locked behind the stall door, practice mindfulness and gratitude for our entire embodied experience and understand how any creative person (that means you!) can have a powerful impact on the world.
