Stand UP: Civil Rights, Lewis Museum The history of our host community, Baltimore, is deeply rooted in civil rights. Join the leadership of the Reginald F. Lewis Museum for an in-depth look into how the Civil Rights Movement in Baltimore has evolved – from the March on Washington and the desegregation of amusement parks, to the recent Baltimore uprisings and citywide citizen actions advocating for increased socioeconomic, racial and cultural equality. Hear from front-line activists involved in these events and get an understanding of the role you can play in creating positive change for all people.
