BBYO programs are now available to teens in 6th–12th grade in more than 100 25 communities in North America and countries around the world. 000 BBYO teens were right on-target with the 2013 theme, “From the Roots We Build.” As of this year, 550 AZA and BBG chapters are rooted in more than 100 communities in North America and 25 countries, offering thousands of experiences to more than 40,000 Jewish teens. To support these teens, our infrastructure has grown stronger thanks to significant investments in content development, community engagement and other strategic priorities. BBYO continued to plant new seeds globally. Teens from 18 countries joined us at this year’s truly International Convention and 58 global teens participated in service projects, developed their leadership skills and celebrated Shabbat alongside their North American peers at our summer leadership programming. At the same time, North American teens experienced Israel and Jewish communities in Europe and South Africa through our powerful BBYO Passport programs — forming ties to their Jewish heritage and history. These teens formed the kind of connections that only BBYO can yield, ones that will undoubtedly become lifelong friendships. We’re fortified by our philanthropists — alumni, parents, professionals and volunteers — who are respected for their commitment to a vibrant Jewish future. Their continued support ensures that our roots run deep and is the reason BBYO can touch so many lives and grow. Thank you! ff, advisors, Jewish g philanthropists from pated in February’s Convention.
