Shabbat Observance Each region will create a proper Shabbat dress policy with which they are comfortable. There will be no organized travel on Shabbat. All Shabbat T’filot will be done with the understanding that  includes members from all Jewish denominations. Every attempt should be made to provide kosher meals at all  functions. If this is not possible, all food provided will be dairy or pareve and not include any meat products. When meat is served, it will be kosher and kosher meals will be provided if requested. Pork and shellfish will not be served under any circumstances. There will be no mixing of meat with milk products. Music and singing in the spirit of Shabbat is permitted, as is Israeli dancing. There will be no telephone, cell phone or pager use during Shabbat. Each region has the right to create an atmosphere for Shabbat that will be acceptable to the membership and not the sole observance of those in charge. BBYO Member Dress Code All members are to give proper attention to personal cleanliness and to dress appropriately for  functions and events sponsored by the organization. 70
