Battling BARE's Teal Star: The #PTSD Magazine Volume 2 | Page 38

I think you should know the truth about me. I’m obsessed with candles, orchids, and chapstick. I’ve also been told I have an unhealthy addiction to White Mochas.

I’m a photographer, a daughter, a sister, a friend. I consider it an honor to have friends and strangers as part of my life.

What drives me is passion. I want you to look incredible and feel empowered, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make that happen.

When I meet a new face or hear a stranger’s story, I carry it with me. I don’t want to be the same tomorrow as I am today. I can’t think of a better way to make a lasting connection with people…than to snap a photo to forever freeze a moment. I don’t believe in coincidence…no one crosses our path without leaving a mark on it.

There is something uniquely beautiful about moments that don’t initially attract a camera. These little moments, or projects, are what I find captivating. Perhaps it’s a man and woman gazing at each other as new parents for the first time. Maybe it’s working with a soldier who bares scars from war. Or it could be a friend who has a dream and I’m working beside them to help make it happen.

God. Art. People. This is what I live for.

But enough about me–let’s hear about you! Just head over to the “Contact” page to get in touch!

Live with abandon,

Rachel
