Professional Internship First Internship (13 credits) (4 credits) following courses; for Tourism Industry Second Internship Track; (9 credits) Course Descriptions: International Tourism Management ITM 121 Introduction to Tourism Industry (3 credits) This course provides an introduction to the concepts and elements of the tourism industry. Various types of tourism resources and related industries, impacts and development of the tourism industry along with modern styles of tourism business are also explored. This course includes field trips. ITM 122 Introduction to Lodging Business (3 credits) A study of the evolution and characteristics of various types of lodging business such as hotels and resorts including the management, functions, responsibilities and relationship between various departments in the lodging business. This course includes field trips.
