When I come across an interesting article or a new law that has been passed that might impact their business , I will usually forward it along and say , saw this article and thought of you .
This shows that I have gone above and beyond by staying in-tune with their industry and my best attempts to become an expert on their needs , but also that I am thinking of them on a regular basis . You would be surprised that how well this can help communicate with your clients .
When you deliver projects to your clients or keep them informed with monthly reporting , this is a great opportunity to thank them for their business . Doing so at the end of the year as well can also make them feel appreciated .
