5) Alternative spiritual practices
are not “from god” or are “pagan,
heathen” yadda yadda. Hmm…
well, so what if they’re pagan,
heathen, agnostic, Hindu etc?
And as for being “from god”, that
denotes a Judeo-Christian per-
spective, which in and of itself
is neither good nor bad. It’s just
that, a perspective. It’s just like
all the other perspectives of the
7-plus billion unique souls here
on Earth. If you are developing
a connection with your higher
self, divine source, creator, god
or whatever you choose to call
it and you are taking personal
responsibility for your creations;
if you are practicing loving kind-
ness in your daily life, you’re off
to a good start.
6) To be “spiritual” is to eschew
financial abundance and to
ignore or demonize money. Just…
ugh. There is so much that can
be discussed regarding money
and spirituality and covering it
fully is beyond the scope of this
article. Remember this: money is
a medium of exchange and en-
ergetically, it is neutral. It’s what
we do with it that gives it a pos-
itive or negative charge. Another
valuable idea to remember when
thinking about money: it’s rarely
actually about money. The issues
we have around money are usu-
ally deep-seated limiting beliefs
we’ve taken on about ourselves
regarding the concepts of wealth,
worth, pleasure, receiving, and
guilt.
7) God/Spirit/Source is outside
us. This belief is single-hand-
edly the most devastating that
we’ve been fed from the religious
hierarchies and institutions
throughout the millennia. It is
patently false. We are goddesses/
gods. Can we just let that sink in
for a moment? The implications
of this knowledge are many-fac-
eted. For starters, it means that
we, as creators, are constantly
creating! This leads to the next
point: we are ultimately respon-
sible for all our creations. To
have conscious awareness of this
is to at first, be kind of flabber-
gasted. When you get past that,
you’re free to begin to actually
live as we are intended to live: by
creating a human experience we
really love.
As you go about discovering new
things about yourself as a god-
dess/god incarnate, pay attention
to how things make you feel.
The more you learn about and
live your divine nature, the more
your life will blossom with abun-
dance. Happy Spring!
About the Author
Sara Martin is a Reader of Souls, Creatrix of Talismans and Mysti-
cal Wiseass. Her passion is showing people their divinity. How does
she do this? you might ask. She is an advanced Soul Realignment
practitioner, utilizing the Akashic Records to help her clients become
consciously aware of the negative karma generated when they make
choices mis-aligned to their soul-level gifts and talents. As a result,
it becomes difficult to access these gifts. After clearing her clients’
Records, new choices are more easily accessible to them. Another
passion is creating empowering and healing talismans with crystals
and gems that are just what her clients need, energetically speaking.
She does all these things and more with a sarcastic and slightly cyni-
cal sense of humor and deep compassion.
