The question we get asked the most is where did this idea come from ?
It ’ s a great question with a very simple answer . It was created from a single idea that literally dropped in Samantha ’ s mind . She typed it in a memo , shared with Kathy and the rest is history .
History meaning hard word and endless determination . This idea can not be credited to just one person . Without this partnership , Badassery would have never happened .
We wanted to create more than just a magazine , but a place where people could come together and grow . It ’ s not a soapbox for us to stand on but a beautiful badass place to share everyone ’ s message .
Badassery Magazine is a community , a tribe and home for business owners who are dealing with all the shit . The good shit and the bad shit . All the shit . Badassery Magazine is for you .
WHO IS SAMANTHA PARKER ?
Sam is a determined boss who takes the word Badassery very seriously . Badassery is earned and doesn ’ t come overnight . She is also a business owner , mother , military wife , paper waster , wine lover and friend . She is determined to take this world by storm .
She believes that all businesses are built upon having a strong desire for community and nurturing that community to its fullest . She is not afraid to speak her mind and will be beyond honest with you . Sam has some serious ninja skills when it comes to running an online business . Sam is passionate about helping others grow their business through a solid visibility strategy that includes a strong community and providing value at all times .
WHO IS KATHY RASMUSSEN ?
Kathy believes badassery comes from not being afraid to forge your own path . She loves implementing new ideas and helping people follow their passions . She ’ s a mom , wife , coffee addict , vegetarian , atheist who is fascinated with haunted houses ( go figure ).
Implementation and getting shit done are Kathy ’ s specialty . She loves creating strategies , planning , puzzles and all sort of nerd-alert business-y stuff . She is the Founder & CEO of Sinq Business Solutions , which provides operations management and support for digital business experiencing exponential growth , and hosts the Indie Executives Facebook group to show entrepreneurs how to transition into CEOs of their businesses .
