For most new coaches & entrepreneurs the biggest hurdle to overcome is taking that first step . Your self-belief relies on signing that first client or hitting your next milestone . Your vision is completely possible , otherwise it wouldn ’ t be nagging you and tugging at your heart strings day in and day out .
If you ’ re on the path to living your purpose , you already know resistance tags along for the ride . In honor of your quest to kick some ass and serve , I ’ ve boiled it down to 7 practices to help you transcend fear , quit procrastinating and sparkle like you mean it !
1 . LEARN FROM OTHERS I ’ m putting the good shit first because it ’ s a game-changer for anyone getting started . Learning from the mistakes of others is one of the smartest ways to avoid the very failures you ’ re afraid of .
You can choose to spin your wheels trying to get things going or you can bestie up with the right people . Surround yourself with high vibrational people that lift you up . There is no weakness in seeking guidance and support , it ’ s actually one of the strongest decisions you can make . You don ’ t need to feel like you ’ re faking it , going it alone , or stalling out . Simply reach out to someone who has solved the problem you ’ re currently up against and ask for help .
2 . EMBRACE UNCERTAINTY It ’ s normal to cling to what you know , there ’ s even comfort is staying right where you are . This is how we end up stuck in the first place , but it ’ s time to make a conscious choice to step out of the known and embrace uncertainty . Don ’ t wait until you ’ re miserable to take empowered action . Lean in and get curious about what ’ s possible for you .
“ The cave we fear to enter holds the treasure that we seek .” ~ Carl Jung
3 . FAILURE IS FEEDBACK Mistakes are proof of progress . If you are making mistakes , you ’ re making progress ! Take action no matter how small , even if it ’ s just a 1 % shift each day . When something falls flat , it ’ s direct feedback that there is a better way to move forward . Hurry up and fail
