The classes are every Wednesday 5pm – 6pm at Breadalbane Community Campus. Community Sports Leader Award Heather McDade, a 6th Year pupil from Breadalbane Academy has recently received her 50 hours Saltire Volunteering Award and her Community Sports Leader Award. Heather has been a Sports Ambassador at Pitlochry High School and Breadalbane Academy and a sports volunteer with Active Schools for a number of years. Heather has always shown high commitment in whatever she does. Good luck in the future Heather and congratulations. Community Sports Leader Award is being offered as part of our Senior Activities programme next session for pupils who are interested in sport, physical activity, leadership and volunteering. Rotary Art & Design Prize Winners The Rotary Club of Pitlochry sponsors our annual Art & Design competition for the Artist and Designer of the Year Award for junior and senior pupils. The senior exhibition was held for the first time in the community campus at Breadalbane Academy in February. John Reid, the Rotary Club President, opened the prize giving ceremony and Sheen Devlin, Head of Education for Perth & Kinross Council kindly handed out the prizes. Fred Alexander has worked with the Art & Design departments of Breadalbane Academy and Pitlochry High School to put on these exhibitions for many years now and it is gratefully appreciated for all that the Rotarians do to promote the arts in our community.
