The spaciousness of Platinum Service offers guests a range of luxury extras including private chauffeur transfers , in-cabin breakfasts and access to the exclusive Platinum Club . Spacious Platinum cabins feature full-size ensuites and the choice of double or twin bedded accommodation . Guests enjoy sumptuous freshly prepared regionalised cuisine , including 5-course dinners in the all new Platinum Club which also is a haven of friendly conversation . All beverages including a range of fine Australian wines are included .
Gold Service guests can choose between three cabin types , and enjoy the allinclusive fares featuring onboard regional dining , a range of complimentary beverages and a choice of intriguing Off Train Excursions and Outback Experiences along the way .
Gold Service Twin Cabin ( 2 persons ) – the most popular level of service aboard The Ghan and Indian Pacific offering a private cabin complete with compact ensuite for couples or travelling partners .
Gold Service Single Cabin ( 1 person ) – whether travelling alone or with friends , Gold Single Service provides guests with an economical and fun way to hit the tracks with all the benefits of all-inclusive travel . With no single supplement and a year-round standard discount off the Gold Twin Service per person fare , Gold Single Service represents great value . Gold Service Single Cabins have a washbasin in room and toilets and showers are at the end of the carriage .
Gold Service Superior Cabin up to 3 persons – limited availability ) – almost double the size of Gold Service Twin Cabins , with full ensuite and a 3 / 4 size lower double bed and small single upper berth – ideal for a family of three .
