Amanda is one of my most favorite tarot personalities because of her practical, down to earth and often no nonsense way of explaining things. When I picked up a deck for the first time it was Amanda on You Tube that helped me to understand the basics.

This E Book is designed to act as a workbook and here’s something that you may not know-there are audio links throughout the book, these are products that Amanda sells on her website but, by purchasing this e book, you have access to them for free. This is not only generous, it’s a fresh idea-and I love fresh ideas!

The first question this book asks you is “Why do you want to learn to read Tarot Cards?” and there is a series of questions for you to answer after that. I like this because it will get the beginner thinking about what it is they hope to gain and it also defines expectations.

This is followed by a Quiz about beliefs and tarot cards that will help you dispel any negative associations you may have. This writing exercise is designed to point out anything that may block you and then goes onto help you clear any negative beliefs or uneasy

feelings you may have about tarot cards. This is interesting to me because as we all know, there are still people who think tarot is evil – or what have you- and that you can’t be a good Christian AND a tarot reader.

Chapter 6 talks about our different learning styles and how we can use the style that’s most natural to us in order to learn tarot.
