The mute button is your friend!
Keep your microphone muted when you’re not speaking. This ensures that you are allowing the person who’s speaking to be heard as clearly as possible.
Please make sure there is a quiet place where you can be uninterrupted for an hour to an hour and a half:
No dogs barking
No doors opening and closing
No people talking in the room
No phones ringing
No children in the room
No TV or Radio playing
If you are calling in by phone you will need to turn the volume off on your computer.
It’s not a good idea to try to do a show while outside or in a café or restaurant.
Remember: every sound that happens in your environment is going to be heard by the listeners.
