2 . VERACI PIZZA 1333 West Summit Pkwy , Spokane | 509.389.0029
WHAT TO ORDER : GREEN DAHLIA PIZZA
They fire their gourmet pizzas with apple wood from Yakima Valley in screaming oven temperatures around 1000 degrees . Their crust is super thin and each batch is hand mixed . This is the best place to grab a quick slice of pizza for lunch . You can order at the front counter , grab your slice for $ 5 , and be on your way in a couple of minutes . If you are worried one slice won ’ t fill you up , keep in mind their slices are so big you have to palm them . Veraci is located in Kendall Yards and you know they are legit if they have locations in some of the biggest foodie cities in the country such as Seattle and Portland . You can catch them at various night markets around town firing up their pizza fresh in their massive oven on wheels . I love their Green Dahlia Pizza complete with loads of house-made pesto , or create your own to fit your specific pizza dreams , whatever they may be .
3 . PICCOLO ARTISAN PIZZA KITCHEN
21718 E Mission Ave Liberty Lake , WA
509.926.5900
WHAT TO ORDER : BRASATO & MARGHERITA
Located in Liberty Lake , Piccolo is Hay J ’ s new “ sister restaurant ” serving up artisan pizza , unique salads , and tasty desserts . Piccolo is more casual than Hay J ’ s , while still maintaining their high quality of service , ingredients , and recipes . Piccolo is a great option if you ’ re coming off the lake or casually dressed , but still want a nice dinner out . They love their community and display local artwork and craftsmanship throughout their restaurant . We had a blast sampling a variety of their menu items and everything was so fresh and crafted with care . I would recommend the Brasato Pizza for meat lovers and the Margherita Pizza for a more simplistic pizza . Don January ’ t forget | February to order 2017 dessert 55 !
