What’s
happening
around the
district
The Rotary Clubs of Arlington united to provide a $2,000 donation to
the Martin High School Robotics Club.
The AISD saluted all of our librarians during National
Library Week. The AISD has more than 75 librarians
on our campuses, and each works hard to keep students
connected with new technology and creative with
innovative maker spaces.
Dunn Elementary hosted a Beat the STAAR pep rally. The
highlight of the event was the pie in the face with Ricardo Butler,
fourth-grade teacher!
Some of the AISD’s youngest students were treated to a special
visit by author Eric Litwin at the PDC recently. Litwin, who
authored the “Pete the Cat” series and the new “The Nuts” series,
was able to share his “Sing and Dance in Your Polka-Dot Pants”
book through a TLI grant with the district.
