work alongside the physician in a setting where they would
do the diagnosing, and I would do the prescribing and/or
monitoring of a patient’s medication therapy. My career has
afforded me many opportunities to help patient outcomes,
improve the economics of health care systems, design and
implement clinical programs and education programs for the
healthcare community, and advance clinical pharmacy practice.
I came to Arlington to join the Arlington Cancer Center and
their infusion company, with locations nationally to assist
with clinical trials, programs and accreditations. My wife of
more than 21 years worked in the accounting department
there, and we literally met at the copy machine. All these
