Oct. 26 was Careers on Wheels Day at Corey
Academy of Fine Arts and Dual Language as
students got to see everything from ambulance
drivers to pottery wheels in motion.
School namesake Sandy McNutt visited McNutt Elementary and
read to the first graders at the school. She also helped participate in
Red Ribbon Week festivities as the school teamed up against drugs.
The latest Parent University paired with Destination
Success was a hit as guests attended parent workshops and
presentations on financial aid, scholarships, college prep,
SAT/ACT test prep, athletic recruiting and more.
Crow Elementary hosted an All Pro Dads event on Nov. 11.
All Pro Dads is a nationwide father engagement program
that is supported by former NFL coach Tony Dungy and
