AISD Night at the Texas Rangers Game
It was a big night for the AISD for the May 13 Rangers game as it was AISD Night at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
Pearcy Elementary fifth-grade teacher Jennifer Stice, who found out earlier in the week she won the honor, threw out the
ceremonial first pitch as members of the AISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent Dr. Marcelo Cavazos looked on.
The Lamar High School choir sang the national
anthem before the game. Ellis Elementary capped
a big evening for the AISD as it received $5,000
for being named the All-Star School of the year
by the Rangers and Medical Center Arlington.
