Papá-paloosa and Parent University
The district’s final Parent University of the 2015-2016
school year was held in conjunction with the popular Papápaloosa event April 30 at Swift Elementary.
Papá-paloosa, in its sixth year, is an awareness event that
brings together Dads Clubs from across the district and
encourages parents – and especially fathers – to participate
in their child’s educational experience. Pairing Papápaloosa with Parent University was a hit. More than twodozen resource fair participants greeted guests, and Parent
University featured parent workshops to help gain ideas
and tips for summer success.
Parents and students enjoyed bounce houses,
entertainment, food and more.
