School District & Administration Featured Board Member, Kristen Hudson WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY? Now, I love watching soccer and tennis, especially when one of my boys are playing. I cheered all four years of high school, so back then my favorites were gymnastics and cheerleading. I’m delighted to hear cheerleading is being tried out as a UIL sport this year. And, of course, I will always have a love for theater. WHAT IS SOMETHING PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU? While I attended UTA, I was a server at J.R. Bentley’s. IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN TIME AND MEET ANY PERSON, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY? If I had the power to go back in time, although there are many fascinating people in history, I would pay a visit to my mother. She passed away in 2001 and was my very best friend. She never met Brad or any of her grandkids. I miss her every day and would love to hug her neck and catch up with her over a pitcher of sweet tea. I am sure she’d be thoroughly amused at my attempts at domesticity! WHAT SCHOOLS DID YOU ATTEND? I went through the magnet program at Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth and then received my Bachelor of Science from what is now Missouri State University in Springfield. I also studied theater for three semesters at UTA after getting my degree. AS A YOUNG CHILD, WHAT DID YOU WANT TO GROW UP TO BE? A hairdresser WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD? Cheese WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE SUPERHERO? Elastigirl from the Incredibles 26 Arlington School & Family - August/September
