“The Arlington ISD Education Foundation is delighted to
be able to help provide support for our outstanding teachers
and students,” said Brian White, executive director. “We
want to help our educators provide opportunities to our
students that are not covered through state funding.”
White noted that the foundation also plans on distributing
an additional $35,000 in grants to the Arlington ISD
educators in late April or May. Throughout its 20 years,
the Foundation has distributed more than $1.2 million in
grants to the AISD campuses. The mission of the Arlington
ISD Education Foundation is to serve the students of the
Arlington ISD by fulfilling extraordinary educational needs
and initiatives. “The foundation plans on recognizing those
who have left their legacy in the Arlington ISD throughout
the years and creating more named endowments,” White
stated. “We want broad-based community support, and to
let people know what we’re doing so we can give back even
more to our classrooms.” †
