Great job by the eighth-grade math team at Nichols
Junior High. They did a five-week boot camp for their
students toget ready for the STAAR test. It included
personalized student plans and students rotating to the
teachers who best served their math needs.
The first-ever Student Career Exploration Night was
held for AISD fourth through eighth graders. During
the come-and-go event, students explored career
possibilities with local employers and the AISD career
and technical education department.

More than two dozen former and current Arlington
ISD board members gathered for a dinner in late
March to get an update on all of the exciting things
happening in the Arlington ISD.
Author and illustrator Vuthy Kwon visited with
students at Little Elementary. Kwon visits nearly 100
schools per year to read to and entertain kids!
