o doubt we’ve all seen
articles in the past
few years with headlines like,
“Studies Show Facebook Makes
Us Unhappy” or “Social Media
Makes You Miserable.” And I
won’t deny there’s truth there.
If you let it, Facebook can be
a vehicle for comparing your
life to others and, quite frankly,
a time suck. I have definitely
experienced this in the past, and
I know others who have too.

However, it doesn’t have to be
that way. You can use social
media to your advantage
without feeling overwhelmed
or empty. The key is being
conscious of how you engage
online and the mindset you
