FUNDRAISING & EVENTS
Signature Events
Sporting Affair Celebrity Waiter Dinner - On March 4, 2016, 450 guests, 40 athletes and several wish families united
for this signature event. Each year when we ask a wish child what their special wish might be, many choose to
meet their favorite player or team. In the first surprise of the evening, Brian’s wish to meet the Colorado Avalanche
became a reality when he was told his wish would be
granted. In the second twist of the evening, wish kid Logan,
who was sharing his incredible piano talents, was told that
the keyboard on which he was playing actually belonged
to him and that his wish for a home recording studio would
be fulfilled. It was an evening of laughter, tears of joy and a
celebration of the power of a wish®.
Make-A-Wish Colorado Kickball Tournament - On September
26, 2015, The Make-A-Wish Colorado Young Professionals
Group hosted their 11th annual Kickball Tournament at Dick’s
Sporting Goods Park. Since 2004, they have raised enough to
help grant 48 wishes.
