From kickball tournaments to celebrity waiter dinners, Make-A-Wish Colorado hosts a variety of fundraisers each year and is proud to be

Sporting Affair Celebrity Waiter Dinner, 2015
Don Yaeger, award-winning keynote speaker, business leadership coach and eight-time New York Times best selling author, emceed our
signature event attended by 40 sports celebrities from around the state, including Von Miller and TJ Ward from the Denver Broncos; Kyle Keefe
from Altitude Sports; Scott Hastings from the Denver Nuggets, and many more. Celebrity waiters enjoyed helping attendees raise $252,734 enough to grant 34 wishes! Pictured: Celebrity waiters pose for a group photo before going to their assigned tables.
Wine & Wishes (and Whiskey)
Hundreds came together in 2014 for Wine & Wishes: A Tribute to the Beatles
and in 2015 for Whiskey, Wine and Wishes. Groovy tunes by The Fab Four
were a highlight of the 2014 event, along with cool auction items, which included
a guitar signed by Sir Paul McCartney. In 2015, guests danced the night away to
Soul School and fought over a 20 year-old bottle of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon in
the auction. Together, these events raised enough to grant 30 wishes, thanks to our
generous donors and supporters.
Kick-A-Ball/Make-A-Wish
The Make-A-Wish Colorado Young Professionals Group hosts an annual Kickball
Tournament in the fall at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. They have raised $175,000
and have granted 25 wishes since June 2014.
