Our Social Impact
Digital Inclusion
in 2014/15, over 5,820 of our residents
took part in community projects such
as Doorstep Learning, Get On Plus, DIY
SOS, Jobs at Home and Motiv8.
We now have 80 Digital Champions
(staff and volunteers) who coach people
in their communities to develop computer
skills. These skills help people find work,
write CVs, stay in touch with family and
friends and build their confidence. We’ve
carried out 1,472 computer based
training sessions in 2014/15.

We’re a key partner in the national
‘Give Us A Chance’ partnership. This
consortium aims to provide skills and

Young residents leading the way
Our young residents are hugely important
to us at AmicusHorizon and are leading
the way in making positive contributions to
their communities.
We help some of the most
disavantaged and vulnerable residents
through support and counselling
services funded by AmicusHorizon’s
own charity, Fresh Visions.
