INFRASTRUCTURE LEAD TEAM
As the word cloud above suggests, the topics that fall under the umbrella
of the Polk Vision Infrastructure Team are varied, ranging from multi-modal
transportation to water. The Team has addressed issues such as land conservation,
failing lane miles, affordable housing, growth management and broadband. While
committed to continuing to monitor these issues, the Team now has an eye on
the growing concern for safe routes to school. They have chosen to conduct a
comprehensive gap analysis to identify needs for sidewalk improvements on
collector roads within a 2 mile radius of Polk County schools.

“Polk Vision serves as a platform for me to work with other leading industry professionals so
that we may collectively make Polk County a better place to live, work and play! It also allows
me to make lasting personal connections and friends with other leaders throughout Polk
County who I may not otherwise have come in contact with.”
