The power of a committed community
In 2015 – 2016 , the CHS community came together to support the highly successful closing of the A World of Opportunity campaign in support of the new senior school Athletics Centre and Manrell Hall .
A huge thank you goes out to all our Crofton House parents , past parents , grandparents and alumnae for their incredible generosity in helping us complete this campaign — so integral to the transformation of our school . The total amount raised by the A World of Opportunity campaign concluded at more than $ 25 million .
This year also saw the same spirit of generosity and engagement from our new CHS parents , with a remarkable 98 percent participation in New Parents ’ Appeal which contributed to the capital campaign .
In 2015 – 2016 , two marquee events also demonstrated the power of our committed Crofton House community :
• Our amazing Gala Celebration 2016 , the first in eight years , paid tribute to the generous CHS community and incredible achievements realized through the A World of Opportunity campaign . With more than 700 Crofton parents attending , the Gala was a tremendous success . A heartfelt thank you to Lisa Dalton and Susan Chow , co-chairs of the Gala Committee , and the support of a legion of committed committee members and parent volunteers .
• The 19th Annual Golf Classic – a sellout event – drew parents , alumnae and friends together for a day of fun . In 2012 , the Parent Golf Committee pledged to raise $ 1 million for the new Senior School Athletics Centre . Thanks to the resounding generosity of our CHS community , the $ 230,000 raised this year through this single event saw that major milestone not only achieved , but exceeded .
These and other successes in 2015 – 2016 showcase the strength of our very inspired CHS community .
