INAUGURAL WORKFORCE CAMPUS Photo credit: Beverlie Lord/Satsun Photography The new Sonia Gutierrez Campus, a 50,000 square foot building in northeast D.C. dedicated to workforce development, opened in October 2013. This state-of-the-art campus, named after the School’s founder, allows the School to provide classes to hundreds more students daily and to double the size of the culinary arts program. At the grand opening, which took place on October 8, more than 250 guests received tours of the building that included demonstrations by students of the culinary arts, computer support specialist and nurse aide training programs. Carlos Rosario School founder Ms. Gutierrez told the crowd, “Today we celebrate the power of the human spirit.
