Workforce Development The School’s workforce development courses provide hands-on career training in high demand, rapid growth industries and are taught and guided by industry professionals. Graduates of these courses earn industry standard certificates that help them enter into family-sustaining careers and climb career ladders. Nurse Aide Training (NAT): This course provides students with more than 200 hours of instruction and hands-on practice in a skills lab preparing them to become certified nurse aides. Students gain clinical experience during a 10-day practicum conducted at a partner site. Computer Support Specialist (CSS) Training: Comprised of two levels-- CSS 100 and CSS 200 -- these information technology courses provide students with the technical skills and knowledge needed when applying for entry-level IT positions. Culinary Arts Training (CAT): Through this theoretical and experiential course students acquire the skills needed to succeed in the food service industry in both back and front of the house positions. Students also develop basic business and entrepreneurial skills.
