ow would YOU describe the
experience of time away at
Alpine, unplugged, for some
fun, reconnection and soul-searching?
What words would YOU use to explain
adventuring in the forest and being
re-introduced to our Creator when you
Alpine
have a little space and time to actually
relish His invitation?
There are so many layers of
experience at Alpine, we thought
we’d ask a few people to help capture
the essence…

n addition to celebratory
moments throughout the year,
the big event will be the weekend
of September 15-17, 2017.
For event registration and
program information, please visit
www.alpine-cc.org and click on
the 60th Anniversary logo.
We want to hear from you!
In preparation for the 60th
anniversary, please send us stories
of your own Alpine mountain-
top encounters to stories@
alpine-cc.org. We’d love to weave
these into our 60th Anniversary
celebration! (Ideas: you could
include anything about your
experience as a camper or staff
member and how that influenced
your life then and now).
Stories, S’mores, Songs,
Silliness, Stillness, inSights –
something for all who have been
a part of Alpine’s first 60 years.
See if you and your family can
make it this weekend for another
mountaintop encounter with Jesus.

“ I love to experience
Savannah
Age 16, Camper
from South Coast
Fellowship in Ventura:
“ I’ve been to other camps. Alpine is different,
the wilderness here,
and to hang out with
our group. It is great
bonding time where we
can reclaim our faith. When
we woke up this morning,
everything was covered with
snow…it was like walking on
powdered sugar! ”
more welcoming. My time here equips me to
be a better role model as I disciple younger
girls at my church. ”
Justin Cox , Speaker for some of
Alpine’s JH and SH camps:
“ The staff at Alpine is committed to making
disciples of this next generation…not just
the program staff, but all the way to the
kitchen, maintenance and office staff.
I’ve spoken at a lot of camps, but Alpine
comes to the top with their commitment
to teaching…it is almost impossible to
not have some kind of encounter with
God and Truth…it is life-changing. ”
