Albert Lea Seed. Twenty years ago, NorthStar was founded
with Albert Lea Seed as an initial member…selling NorthStar
products to its customers.
Now, we are very pleased to have Albert Lea Seed again selling
NorthStar traited corn and soybean products to its customers.
After 20 years securing and selling high-quality seed with new
genetics and the newest and best traits, NorthStar has developed
a selection and trial system second-to-none.
Owned by seed growers and farmers, NorthStar will grow new
products on our own land the first year. If they don’t work, we
won’t sell them. If they do, we’ve learned agronomic traits and genetic nuances not available to us if we
didn’t make this initial on-farm test.
It’s a system that has allowed NorthStar to become the largest privately-owned seed company in
Minnesota.
And now with the help of Albert Lea Seed, we are confident we can provide hybrids and varieties that
will help you farm successfully.
