Working at Rausch Coleman is not like working at a large nationwide or global company , said Josh Brooks , a first-year Project Manager .

“ The company leadership is very open . You can talk to people on the executive level ,” said Raquel Luciani , an intern from John Brown University . “ They are open to listening to ideas .”
“ We see the process and how decisions are made ,” said Luke Powers , another JBU intern . “ The company projects the implications of the next move and its impact on Rausch Coleman .”
The company looks to its local roots to find new employees .
“ We try to ID young talent , talent that grew up in the area ,” Wilson said . “ Then we develop the talent .”
That talent is developed sometimes by moving people from department to department to give a well-rounded experience , Thomas said .
“ The way to the top may not be vertical , but horizontal ,” Thomas said .
“ The company brings out the best in everyone and finds where they are suited ,” said Rebecca Rochenhaus , Administrative Assistant . “ You find the place where you want to go .”
“ We are dedicated to providing avenues of success for our team members to realize personal growth and development ,” Thomas said . “ We continually work toward the goal of providing what they need for advancement . There is opportunity for anyone who wants to pursue continual improvement and grow with our company .”
Competitive benefits include health , dental , long-term disability and life insurance , Thomas said . A 401 ( k ) program with a company match is included in the benefits , as well as vacation days and sick or personal time off .
“ Seek every opportunity ,” Brooks said . “ Any job can lead to something else . You never know where it will take you .”
