AGC San Diego Education & Safety Training Catalog July - December 2015 SAFETY TRAINING FOR CONSTRUCTION FALL PROTECTION COMPETENT PERSON TRAINING COURSE LENGTH: 16-HOURS This two-day intermediate-level course is designed for facility and site supervisors who must also serve as the competent person required by OSHA 1926.32(f), 1926.500 and 1910 standards. Participants are assigned tasks which require evaluation for fall hazards. The tasks are described using real-life site photos. The training provides more detailed coverage of the Fall Prevention & Protection Supervisor Training course materials. The course also supplies the participant with the knowledge and skills to perform the annual inspection and record keeping. Date: July 22 & 23 September 2 & 3 December 9 & 10 Time: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm / each day Instructor: John Eckel and Chris Hooper - Honeywell Industrial Safety AGC Member: $850 AGC Journeyman: $0 Non Member: $900 FALL PROTECTION COMPETENT PERSON & INSPECTION TRAINING FOR EM385-1-1 COURSE LENGTH: 24-HOURS This twenty-four hour course is designed for facility and site supervisors who must also serve as the competent person required by OSHA 1926.32(f), 1926.500, 1910, and EM385-1-1 standards. Participants are assigned tasks which require evaluation for fall hazards. The tasks are described using real-life site photos. The training provides more detailed coverage of the Fall Prevention & Protection Supervisor Training course materials. The course also supplies the participant with the knowledge and skills to perform the annual inspection and record keeping. The Fall Protection Equipment Inspection is designed for workers that perform annual inspection of fall arrest systems, or workers who inspect the equipment prior to issuing to the users, but does not have the level of responsibility the competent person does. The training provides experience, methodology and in-depth look at all standards (ANSI & CSA) and regulations (OSHA) covering inspection of personal fall arrest systems.
